How can I clean my hard wood floor?
My hard wood floor in my kitchen has a dull finish. After I wash it, you can see streaks…and it drives me nuts!! The hard wood floor in our living room has a shine, and it ALWAYS looks great! So I’m just wondering if there are any suggestions for how to clean matte finish hard wood floors. I’ve just been using warm water and pinesol. Thanks!
Just to clarify, the floor is dull because it’s supposed to be. It has a matte finish….there isn’t a residue or anything like that making it dull. 
It depends on what kind of wood floor you have. If it is the pre- finished kind then you want to use a cleaner like Bruce floor cleaner, it works much better than anything else and any sort of oil soap will be a disaster. If it is the traditional kind where it is laid then finished try Mrs. Meyer all purpose cleaner or some people swear by vinegar and water, but I cant stand the smell.
